Paul Drake on the Inside Angle Show

"The Inside Angle" is a laid-back talk and interview show featuring LSE alumnae and alumni and other guests discussing their work, ventures and adventures for insight and enjoyment. Produced and hosted by the Officers of the Association, regular show episodes are broadcasted live on YouTube.

The first episode of "The Inside Angle" show will air on Thursday, 22 October, at 20:00. Charlotte Guan, Activities & Events Officer, will be welcoming Paul Drake, Senior Director, Legal, Global Marketing at ebay, to discuss how to lead teams whose members are located on different continents.

After a degree in economic history from the School (1994), and then law school, Paul trained and qualified as a solicitor with the London law firm Olswang, where he spent 6 years advising clients in the e-commerce, digital media and online gambling sectors. He joined the then fast growing eBay business back in 2003 working on a range of legal matters and, after supporting the UK business for 6 years, he relocated to Zurich with his family in 2009 to lead various eBay legal teams located across Europe. He recently started a new role supporting eBay’s global marketing team, managing a small team of lawyers based in the US.
